Overview
trūRapid™ HW/Lyme is an in-house heartworm and Lyme test developed for all practices.
trūRapid HW/Lyme is a combination test that detects the presence of adult female Dirofilaria immitis (heartworm) antigens and C6 antibodies for exposure to Borrelia burgdorferi (Lyme) in canine serum, plasma, and anticoagulated whole blood. No cross-reactivity with Lyme vaccines.
To avoid advanced stages of heartworm disease and Lyme in patients, veterinary teams are adding the trūRapid HW/Lyme combo test to their prevention programs.
