
Dr. Francis grew up in Southern California and attended the University of California at Davis where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. He remained at UC-Davis for post-graduate work and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. He then completed a one-year internship at California Animal Hospital (now known as ASEC) in Los Angeles, California, followed by a radiology residency at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, Texas. In 2007, he returned home to Southern California where he worked as a radiologist in varying capacities. He served as a staff radiologist at two large specialty practices, performed radiology rounds with several hospitals, and assisted in the development of digital radiology equipment. Currently, Dr. Francis is a proud member of the Antech Imaging Services team. Professional affiliations include the American Veterinary Medical Association.
