Specimen
1.5 mL serum, 1.0 mL EDTA whole blood, 6.0 mL urine, and 0.3 grams of feces.
Test Description
SuperChem (SA010) with Complete Blood Count (CBC), thyroid panel (Total T4 and Free T4 by Equilibrium Dialysis (FT4ED)), Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) antigen detection, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) antibody detection, KeyScreen GI Parasite PCR (T991) for intestinal parasite detection, and Urinalysis (UA).
Interferences: marked hemolysis and lipemia. Lipemia can falsely decrease T4 results. Marked hemolysis or lipemia may result in false positive results on the FeLV Antigen ELISA.
