CBC with clinical pathologist review of blood smear and results.
This includes WBC, RBC, HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, platelet count and estimate, WBC differential, RBC, and WBC morphology. A clinical pathologist will then review results and blood smears and provide an interpretative comment of the Complete Blood Count (CBC).
Interferences: Marked hemolysis and lipemia. Clotting or freezing of sample may preclude analysis.
