Dr. Lund earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 2010. He spent his first two professional years practicing mixed animal medicine in his home state of North Dakota. Adventure brought him to New York City which afforded new experiences in small animal practice and shelter medicine, including leadership roles at Animal Care Centers of NYC and the ASPCA Community Medicine Department. Before beginning his anatomic pathology residency at the University of Pennsylvania in 2018, Dr. Lund was also volunteering with the Wildlife Conservation Society’s pathology team located at the Bronx Zoo. He started with ANTECH Diagnostics in 2021 shortly after finishing his residency and becoming board certified by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists. He works from his current home in Philadelphia, PA. His previous veterinary experiences invigorate his desire to share accurate and timely diagnoses with clients. His connection to the clinical side of veterinary medicine further ignites his excitement to discuss challenging cases with veterinary colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, Dr. Lund enjoys spending time with his family and their menagerie of pets. His heart belongs in the woods and plains and all other wild places that he frequents as regularly as possible.
