Biography

Dr Veir was an Associate Professor and the section head of the Small Animal Internal Medicine service at Colorado State University. Her research in academia focused primarily on infectious diseases, respiratory medicine, and diagnostic testing. She joined Antech as a full-time consultant in 2021 but continues to provide relief services to academic and private practice specialty internal medicine services. Julia lives with her husband, Lea, and has a passion for cats, especially those that are all black. When left to her own devices, she enjoys low-key gravel and road cycling, attempting to garden in the Rocky Mountains Region, and cat worship.
