Dr. Gross became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2009 following 3 years of residency training at Iowa State University. He obtained his veterinary degree from Colorado State University and following that he completed an internship in small animal surgery and medicine at Kansas State University. Dr. Gross was a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy for 5 years and had then spent 2 years imaging the surface of Mars with NASA’s Mars Global Surveyor satellite prior to returning to school to become a veterinarian. He spends much of his free time acting as companion animal to a demanding old doberman and enjoys running, swimming, sailing and cycling to keep the moss from gaining a toe-hold in his home of Seattle.
