Biography

Alys is originally from Arlington, Virginia. She graduated from Bridgewater College with a BS in Biology and Applied Chemistry and earned her veterinary degree at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, she completed a one-year Food Animal Medicine and Surgery internship, followed by Clinical Pathology residency at Oklahoma State University. In the fall of 2024, she joined the Antech clinical pathology team. She lives in Oklahoma with her husband, 3 dogs, and 6 ducks. Alys loves sheep/duck herding with her border collie, reading, and playing fiddle in a Celtic band.
