Specimen
1.5 mL serum, 1.0 mL EDTA whole blood, and 6.5 mL urine.
Test Description
SuperChem (SA010) with Complete Blood Count (CBC), Heartworm Antigen (HWAg) detection, thyroid panel (Total T4 and Free T4 by Equilibrium Dialysis (FT4ED)), Urinalysis (UA), and Urine Protein to Creatinine Ratio (UPC, T775).
Interferences: marked hemolysis and lipemia. Lipemia can falsely decrease T4 results.
