Test Description
This evaluates the percentage of steroid-induced alkaline phosphatase in the serum relative to the total serum alkaline phosphatase. Elevation of steroid-induced alkaline phosphatase is not specific for hyperadrenocorticism and is of limited diagnostic utility in the diagnosis of this disease.
