- Specimen
- 1.5 mL serum, 1.0 mL EDTA whole blood, 6.0 mL urine, and 5.0 grams of feces.
- Test Description
- SuperChem (SA010) with Complete Blood Count (CBC), Heartworm Antigen (HWAg) detection, O&P (fecal Ova & Parasites; zinc sulphate centrifugation/floatation), thyroid panel (Total T4 and Free T4 by Equilibrium Dialysis (FT4ED)), and Urinalysis (UA).
Interferences: marked hemolysis and lipemia. Lipemia can falsely decrease T4 results.
