Test Description
Accuplex™, KeyScreen™ (Canine)
Accuplex (CAC100) screens for canine Vector‑borne Disease (VBD) pathogens. It detects Dirofilaria immitis (heartworm) antigen, C6 antibodies produced following Borrelia burgdorferi infection (Lyme), antibodies to Ehrlichia spp. (including E. canis, E. ewingii, and E. chaffeensis) and antibodies to Anaplasma spp. (including A. phagocytophilum and A. platys).
KeyScreen GI Parasite PCR (CT991) detects 20 individual parasites, and markers for potential Zoonotic Giardia (assemblages/strains A and B), and hookworm (Ancylostoma caninum) benzimidazole (e.g., fenbendazole, febantel) resistance.
Note: sample should be evaluated within 24 hours of collection. If a worm has been identified in the sample, separate the worm and place in a container labeled WORM. Additionally, mark WORM on the Test Requisition Form (TRF) being submitted with the sample.
Accuplex and all panels that include Accuplex are not intended to meet export testing requirements.
