Biography

Dr. Jodie Gerdin is Director of Anatomic Pathology and is a Clinical Professor of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. She hails from upstate New York, and is a graduate of Cornell veterinary school. After completing an internship in small animal medicine and surgery outside of Washington DC, she worked for 5 years as an emergency veterinarian at a referral hospital in Richmond, VA. She returned to Cornell for her residency in veterinary anatomic pathology, where she developed expertise in hepatopathology and forensic pathology. Dr. Gerdin enjoys antiquing and brewery-touring. She resides outside of Albany, NY with her husband, daughter, and 2 cats, all of whom are Washington Nationals and Baltimore Ravens fans.
