Urine must be put in CADET BRAF container within 15 minutes of collection and can be collected over multiple days.
Test Description
A non-invasive, highly sensitive assay that evaluates free-catch urine samples from dogs for the presence of cells harboring the b-raf mutation or specific copy number variations associated with Transitional Cell Carcinoma/Urothelial Carcinoma/Prostatic carcinoma. The assay identifies 85% of TCC/UC cases. It can be used to diagnose TCC/UC and monitor dogs undergoing treatment for remission and relapse. If the CADET BRAF test is negative, the CADET BRAF-PLUS test is reflexed to increase overall sensitivity.
