If the CADET BRAF test is negative, the CADET BRAF-PLUS test is reflexed to increase overall sensitivity.
Specimen
40 mL urine collected in CADET BRAF urine container. Urine must be put in CADET BRAF container within 15 minutes of collection and can be collected over multiple days.
Test Description
A non-invasive, highly sensitive assay that evaluates free-catch urine samples from dogs for the presence of cells harboring the b-raf mutation or specific copy number variations associated with Transitional Cell Carcinoma/Urothelial Carcinoma/Prostatic carcinoma. The assay identifies 85% of TCC/UC cases. It can be used to diagnose TCC/UC and monitor dogs undergoing treatment for remission and relapse.
