Biography

Dr. Lenice McCoy joins Antech Imaging Services from the University of Florida, where she was an Antech Imaging Services sponsored resident. Lenice’s love of UF began when she began her clinical rotations as part of her DVM degree from Ross University in 2005. She then went on to work 2 years in private practice and 3 years working in Emergency practices on the southeast coast, in Saint Augustine and Daytona Beach. She continues to live outside of Gainesville, in rural North Florida with her spouse, Bess Darrow, also a veterinarian, specializing in equine dentistry. Bess and Lenice have 4 horses, the cutest Nubian goat on the planet, Percy, and 5 Chihuahuas. The Chihuahuas , obviously, are in charge of the property. Lenice is newly into CrossFit (to counter the at-home-radiologist lifestyle) and an aspiring “backyard” polo player. Lenice’s other interests include architecture and regional cuisines. She’s thrilled to be part of the “Antech Imaging Services Hive”.
