MARS EQUESTRIAN™ Equine Veterinary Continuing Education Series 2023 date and topics announced

Additional on-demand continuing education series on The Performance Horse still available

August 31, 2023 (McLEAN, Va.) – Building on two years of successful live and on-demand webinars for continuing education credits, MARS EQUESTRIAN™ Sponsorship will be hosting two educational webinars. This time the focus will be providing relevant updates on nutrition and diagnostics and how you can implement the latest research into your equine veterinary practice. This year, the program will take place in the morning and afternoon of one day, Saturday, November 4, 2023. The webinars are pending four Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE)-CE credits to veterinarians and veterinary technicians. The virtual program will be available at no charge and will cover research-based nutrition, along with the latest in laboratory diagnostics and clinical recommendations.

The program, “Nutrition and diagnostic updates: implementing the latest research into your practice,” will take place as follows:

Morning Session: 10:00am – 12:30pm EDT

            -Will include formal updates on research, diagnostics and nutrition, utilizing practical information that can be applied in the field by a panel of equine experts and a special guest.

Afternoon Session: 1:00-3:30pm EDT

            -A panel discussion of equine experts will discuss several practical case studies and how applying research advances in nutrition and diagnostics can help to improve clinical outcomes. Topics covered will include PPID, Laminitis, Obesity, Gastric Ulcers and Colic.

In addition to this virtual event scheduled for the fall of 2023, the three on-demand webinars (two credits each) from 2022 on the topic of The Performance Horse remain available for continuing education credits in the library of recorded webinars at https://web.antechdiagnostics.com/equinewebinarseries. Also available at no charge, the recorded webinars offer relevant research and provide up to date nutritional advice, as well as current guidance on diagnostics.

Each on-demand session must be registered for individually. These are replays of the original webinars held in the fall of 2022. After each recorded session, attendees are required to take a quiz, which will be scored, before receiving RACE credits.
