Dr. Valarie Pallatto is originally from Pennsylvania where she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in math education and earned a commission as a United States Army Officer. She served as a logistics officer, human resource manager and paratrooper prior to receiving her veterinary degree from North Carolina State University in 2000.
Valarie completed a small animal internship at a specialty practice in Northern Virginia and subsequently was in private practice for 2 years. She completed her residency in clinical pathology at North Carolina State University and became board certified in 2006. She is an adjunct Professor at North Carolina State University and remains an active participant in the residency program.
Valarie joined Antech in 2006 serving with the team for 16 years. She is passionate about clinical pathology with a particular interest in dermatology and hematology and, strives to provide excellent service to practicing veterinarians.
She is also a passionate beekeeper, loves cycling and constantly tries new hobbies. She also loves spending time with her family and super mutt Charlie.
