Rebekah G. Gunn

DVM, Diplomate ACVP (Clinical)
North Carolina State University, University of Florida

Rebekah graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, and completed a residency in clinical pathology at the University of Florida in 2007. During her training at the University of Florida, she saw a wide range of samples from various exotic animal species as well as equine and other domestic animals including cats and dogs.  Because of her experience, she is comfortable evaluating samples from animals of all species.  She has been a pathologist with Antech Diagnostics since 2007, and her additional professional activities include being a consultant with the Veterinary Information Network (VIN), presenter at continuing education seminars, and contributor to various textbooks and journals.  Rebekah enjoys all aspects of veterinary clinical pathology but is particularly passionate about digital cytopathology and hematology cases.  She enjoys consulting with other veterinary professionals on cases as part of a “team-oriented” approach to veterinary medicine and patient care.  She also finds fulfillment teaching cytology and hematology to other veterinarians and veterinary technicians. Rebekah strives to find a healthy work-life balance and is also a registered yoga teacher and an avid beekeeper. She lives out in the country with her husband, 5 cats, 2 dogs, at least 15 chickens, 1 goose, and many, many hundreds of thousand honey bees.
