Dr. Nicole Weinstein is originally from Arizona and currently lives in New Mexico. Prior to joining Antech in 2021, she worked at the University of Pennsylvania and Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine as an associate and assistant professor, respectively. During that time Dr. Weinstein practiced diagnostic pathology, managed and taught the Clinical Pathology course, taught mycology, and managed the Clinical Pathology Laboratory. She was involved in a variety of research projects and endeavors, intern and resident training, and course design optimization.
Dr. Weinstein earned her veterinary degree from Colorado State University in 2001, and then completed a rotating internship at Tufts University and a Clinical Pathology Residency and Transfusion Medicine Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, becoming ACVP board certified in 2007. Her favorite parts of being a Clinical Pathologist include diagnostic cytopathology and transfusion medicine as well as discussing cases with clinicians.
