Dr. Melanie Iverson attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for veterinary school, graduating in 2018. She completed her anatomic pathology residency at the Ontario Veterinary College, where she studied aquatic bird bornavirus. Upon receiving her degree in late 2021, she moved to Anchorage, Alaska, with her husband. Dr. Iverson achieved board certification in 2022 and joined the team at Antech Diagnostics in 2023.
Her diagnostic interests include small animal oncologic pathology and wildlife, zoo, and exotic pathology.
In her free time, Dr. Iverson enjoys backcountry camping, canoe tripping, winter biking, and spending time with her family and French Brittanys, Luken and Timberline.
