DVM, Diplomate ACVP (Clinical)
University of Florida, North Carolina State University
Jessica is Florida native and completed her DVM studies at the University of Florida in 2018. She completed her residency training in Clinical Pathology at North Carolina State University in 2022. In September 2022, she passed the board certification exam and began working as a clinical pathologist for Antech Diagnostics. Jessica’s interest in pathology started when she was young, listening to her grandmother transcribe for an anatomic pathologist in her hometown of Gainesville, Florida. Her fascination for pathology only grew as she completed her DVM studies, and she is now passionate about all aspects of diagnostic cytology. She is a member of both the ASVCP and ACVP and has published articles on different interesting cases she has encountered during her clinical pathology training. Jessica fell in love with the Raleigh, NC during her residency training, and currently resides in the Raleigh-Durham area with her husband, two border collies (Blaze and Ryder), and two cats (Posey and Coop). Away from work, Jessica enjoys going to live concerts, spending time with her family and friends, hiking, camping, taking Pilates classes, snowboarding, and playing tennis.
