Jere was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She considers herself a “triple Gator”, as she attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate and veterinary degrees, along with residency training. She became a faculty member at Auburn University after residency and earned board certification in 2021. She joined Antech in 2022 after relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area, where she works in a multispecialty hospital and laboratory located in Daly City, California. Jere is passionate about diagnostic cytology and hematology in all non-human species. She enjoys hiking, running, knitting, reading, and listening to music. She lives with her two very noisy orange cats, Billy and Reuben.
