Dr. Ida Piperisova is originally from the Czech Republic where she completed her undergraduate studies and received her DVM degree from The Veterinary and Pharmaceutical University in her hometown of Brno. After graduate studies in anesthesia, Ida reconsidered her career path and came to the United States to explore other educational opportunities and became enthralled by clinical pathology. She completed a clinical pathology residency at North Carolina State University and became board certified in 2010. Ida enjoys sharing her passion for cytology and hematology through consultations with Antech’s clients. She is intrigued by the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare and completed a certificate program at MIT on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare and holds a Masters Certificate in Healthcare leadership from Cornell University
Ida is an avid cyclist, enjoys snowshoeing, and collecting cookbooks to find new recipes. She shares a home with family, cat Pidiha (little thing in Czech) and an extremely energetic puppy named Levi.
