Dr. Heather Herd attended veterinary school at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, from 2008 to 2013 where she received her BVMS. She then went on to specialize in anatomic pathology, training at Oklahoma State University, and obtaining board certification in 2016. She has a special interest in dermatopathology and infectious diseases.
Dr. Herd is a member of AVMA, ACVP, and ISVD. Born in southern California, she now lives in Missouri with her husband David, two young sons Logan and Cooper, and her ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Manny. Dr. Herd loves gardening, photography, being outdoors, and traveling the country in her fifth-wheel RV with her family.
