Ember earned her veterinary degree from the University of Georgia in 2013 with Summa Cum Laude distinction. She then completed a residency in anatomic pathology at the University of Florida in 2016 and achieved board certification that same year.
Ember joined ANTECH Diagnostics in 2017 and currently works with a group of fantastic pathologists in Durham, NC. Her diagnostic interests include oncologic pathology, dermatopathology, and feline pathology. She is a member of the ACVP, AVMA, and the International Society of Veterinary Dermatology.
Ember is a native of Tennessee but considers herself a Georgia peach. When she’s not obsessing over biopsy diagnoses, she enjoys jogging, camping, attending concerts, trying new foods, and sampling local craft beer. Ember and her husband adore their kitties, Glen and Shelley.
