Brittany Madere

Brittany Madere is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana and did her undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University and Nicholls State University. She completed her veterinary degree in 2018 at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge. After graduation, she completed a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Rotating Internship at Auburn University. Brittany finished her clinical pathology residency and obtained her master’s degree in Veterinary Biomedical Science in 2022 at Auburn University. Her research background involves developmental toxicological studies using the zebrafish biomedical model and zebrafish hematology. In 2022, she was board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in clinical pathology. Brittany joined the Antech team in September 2022 as a digital pathologist. She is passionate about diagnostic cytopathology and enjoys teaching and consulting with veterinarians. Currently, she resides in Louisiana with her husband, child, and their sweet chocolate Labrador retriever, Dixie. Brittany enjoys fishing, photography, and spending time with her family.
