Amy completed her DVM at Oklahoma State University in 1992, followed by a year of general small animal practice in Tulsa, OK. She then returned to OSU for clinical pathology residency training, with subsequent graduate veterinary immunology studies at North Carolina State University. She earned her board certification in 1999. Amy has been part of the Antech clinical pathology team since 2007. She is a member of ASVCP and ACVP, and enjoys all aspects of cytology and hematology. She grew up in the Oklahoma City metro area and now resides outside of Memphis in northern Mississippi. Away from work, she enjoys birdwatching, stargazing, reading (especially historical fiction), attending live theater performances, and, of course, eating BBQ!
