Amy DiDomenico

DVM, Diplomate ACVP (Clinical)
North Carolina State University

After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Music Performance (bassoon, to be specific), Amy took a hard left and decided to apply to veterinary school. Amy graduated from the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. During vet school, she was fortunate to spend summers working in two different research labs, both focusing on diagnosis of gastrointestinal diseases in dogs and cats. She also completed a short externship with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Safety focusing on foodborne illness. After graduation, Amy completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at Veterinary Specialty Hospital of Cary (now BluePearl). She then returned to NC State to complete a residency in clinical pathology, and in 2019 was the recipient of the ASVCP Young Investigator Award for Clinical Research. Amy joined the Antech team in 2020 and has worked both remotely and within a regional laboratory in Cary, NC where she resides with her husband and daughter. Amy enjoys eating and, as an unfortunate but direct consequence, exercising, as well as spoiling her human and feline children.
