Cornell University, North Carolina State University

Meagan is originally from El Centro, California, but relocated to the Finger Lakes region of New York to attend SUNY Geneseo. After earning a BS in biology and a BA in anthropology, she moved a few lakes over to earn her DVM degree from Cornell University. Meagan then completed a yearlong small animal rotating internship at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in Rhode Island before staying on for another year to work as an emergency veterinarian. Next, she entered her residency training in clinical pathology at North Carolina State University and achieved board certification in 2023.
Meagan is a member of the ASVCP, ACVP, and AVMA. She loves all things cytology, though she has a particular interest in feline medicine and teaching. Meagan joined Antech in 2023 and finds her interactions with fellow clinicians on the diagnostic team to be quite rewarding.
Meagan resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, with her partner and a clowder of cats. Outside of work, Meagan can often be found baking, walking along the Triangle’s beautiful greenways, and attending Durham Bulls games. She has recently begun exploring Raleigh’s many craft breweries and taking her cats on neighborhood walks in their stroller (yes, really). A self-identified “Disney adult,” she enjoys planning – or at least dreaming about – her next Disney trip. As she transitions into this new phase of her career, Meagan hopes to travel more and develop new hobbies.
