As you probably heard, Scopio, the parent company of ScopioVet, has made the decision to exit the veterinary market to focus on their human medical endeavors. This was a difficult decision, and the most important thing was to ensure that ScopioVet’s customers were able to, without interruption, continue to leverage the incredible benefit of digital cytology services for their patients was the absolute top concern.

ScopioVet reached out to the team at Antech, and together we came up with the perfect solution. This solution will not only support you in the short term, minimizing any disruption to your practice, but will also provide you with a best-in-class, long-term solution.

Introducing Antech’s Digital Cytology Solution

Antech’s platform was developed in close collaboration with our team of world-class pathologists. At its core is the SQ Scanner from Hamamatsu — a company widely recognized as a leader in digital pathology innovation. Antech’s digital cytology offering offers 24/7/365 access to board-certified pathologists and full-slide interpretations in two hours or less.

Antech worked with Hamamatsu to develop a robust user experience that makes using the SQ Scanner easy and intuitive, providing pathologists with the image quality they need for the most accurate cytological interpretations possible. Antech’s digital cytology service has also undergone a robust beta program to meet customers’ highest demands. Additionally, it is supported by Sound® Imaging — the industry’s leading provider of digital imaging, ultrasound equipment, and technologies.

Here’s what you need to know about this transition:

  • Antech will work directly with Scopio to facilitate a smooth transition for your business to Antech’s digital cytology service if desired.
  • As it will take 30–60 days to transition most of our customers, we ask that you confirm if you wish to transition to Antech’s digital cytology service no later than May 31, 2022.
  • In most instances, your ScopioVet representative will coordinate the removal of your ScopioVet system and facilitate the installation and implementation of Antech’s solution at no out-of-pocket cost to you, should you choose this option.
  • ScopioVet will discontinue operations as of July 31, 2022.
