Biography

Wendy is originally from the Chicagoland area and graduated from the University of Illinois with her veterinary degree in 2016. She completed a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at VCA Aurora Animal Hospital and practiced for 3 years as a clinical instructor for the University of Missouri Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Service. During this time, Wendy found herself repeatedly drawn to the laboratory, and she went on to complete a residency in Clinical Pathology at the University of Missouri. Following residency, Wendy stayed on an additional year as faculty prior to joining Antech. Wendy resides in Columbia, MO with her husband, three children, and the many dogs and cats she’s adopted along the way. She enjoys reading, running, and spending time outdoors with her family.
