Biography

Dr. Joe Impellizeri became a Diplomate in the subspecialty of Oncology in 2005. In 2011, Dr. Impellizeri created the Barrymore Center for Advanced Cancer Therapeutics with a focus on Electrochemotherapy and Gene-electrotransfer. He is the recent editor and co-author of the first textbook in veterinary medicine on Electroporation in Veterinary Oncology. He has been an Antech consultant since 2007. He has authored or co-authored numerous articles and is a frequent lecturer both nationally and internationally. Joe enjoys golf and coaching his kids in soccer and lacrosse.
