Biography

Dr. George Henry obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University in 1973. After 10 years of mixed general practice, including 8 years as practice owner Dr. Henry obtained a radiology residency at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Following the 3-year radiology residency, he achieved Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 1987. In the following years, he worked and taught as a faculty member in the radiology sections of Oklahoma State University, Texas A&M University, and the University of Tennessee until retiring from academia as a Clinical Professor in 2014. Since “retiring” Dr. Henry reads imaging cases online at his home in Tennessee close to family, TVA lakes, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park!
