Christina Jeffries

Christina is from Tucson, Arizona where she began her veterinary journey as a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2010. In this role, her love for veterinary medicine and clinical pathology was solidified. She later shared that passion with students as an instructor within an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology program. She completed a BS in veterinary science from the University of Arizona in 2014. She then obtained her DVM degree at the University of Florida in 2019. In 2022 she completed a residency in veterinary clinical pathology and earned a MS researching Myeloma Related Diseases in dogs and cats at Colorado State University. During her veterinary career she has authored a book chapter, numerous scientific publications, and presented lectures to Colorado veterinary practitioners on clinical pathology related topics (CVMA West – Pathology in Practice convention). Her special interests include myeloma related diseases and associated diagnostics, teaching, body cavity effusions, and oncopathology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and animals, cooking, reading, gardening, and crafting.
